The day hot cocoa beat coffee

Wake up - Turn computer on - Pandora on - Make a cup of coffee ? This is usually how my mind works in the morning,I am a coffe lover 100% but today I tried things a bit different. Actually make that a cup of hot cocoa. How about a little bossa nova in the air too?

I really missed my parents.Which explains the feeling I had to drink some hot cocoa and listen to bossa nova .They always had hot cocoa early in the morning and late at night.

So I looked up in the cabinet and there it was way in the back. A small cocoa mug my mom used to drink in. I knew it was time to use it.so I took it out, and poured some milk and hot cocoa in and warmed it up.just one sip made my day a whole lot better. Moms mug did hold some kind of memory to it and somehow I think that is how The hot cocoa beat the Coffee on my book :)

Myresha and Keith Engagement

I asked Daniel what he thought best described Myresha and Keith as a couple. Everytime we write a blog we like to sit down and remember the moments we shared with the people we photographed. We both agreed that what reminded us most of Myresha and Keith is the genuine happiness they share with each other.I think out of almost all photoshoots I have done in this year of journey, I can say that Myresha and Keith are just two very happy people.

I loved the way Myresha smiled.She made me want to smile because she lightened the entire atmosphere with her smile and keith , he was a bit camera shy, but sure was GQ style :) .

Thank you Myresha and Keith for choosing Daniel and Me to walk with you through such a special time in your life.

Laura and Galileo Wedding

We met Laura and Galileo earlier this year and we were extremely excited to photograph their engagement and wedding. Laura and Galo are one of the biggest gators fans I have ever seen.

The days passed on as we waited for their big day to arrive, and IT DID.

Daniel and I arrived at the golf course a little earlier as part of our routine to hunt for some good spots to photograph and to meet the other vendors as well.Lighting was really great so we had a great canvas to work with.

Laura and Galileo Opted to go for the ''first look''. the first look is when a bride and groom see each other before the ceremony giving us enough time to do all formals photos of the bridal party and the couple before the wedding ceremony. It is also great for the lighting and time to run smoother :) I absolutely love when brides choose to go for the first look. It is a very nice going, non stressing, experience for them as well as for me too :)

Even though I was behind my lens and camera body, i could feel how special seeing each other was to them. It was almost as if it was their first time meeting each other, holding hands, saying ''i love you''.All these emotions and much more. Kind of hard to explain with words ?

The ceremony started and everything was beautiful. I loved how they had these lemonade coolers for their guests. I dont know about you but I love lemonade on a hot summer day so I went ahead and had lots of it :)

The reception started in no time.Their first dance was a song written and composed by one of their brides maids. ABSOLUTELLY BEAUTIFUL :)

Gabriela & Guilherme Engagement

Friday morning came around and I remember waking up to go photograph these two. I was excited for their engagement session, but I was not excited to be awake at this time in the morning. I asked myself as the alarm clock went off at 6:30 am '' Should anyone anywhere be awake at this time of day?''

We went for their engagement session not to far, near pier 60 and it was so much fun.

The sun was comming up and we were there right at the edge of clearwater beach to witness it.

My day couldnt have gone better. Seeing the Sun comming up and remembering of the promise of the new day was a mood lifter in my book. Better yet, photographing this amazing couple too. I cant wait to photograph their wedding in this upcomming year.

Congratulations Gabriela & Guilherme for your Engagement. May God bless you even more in your marriage to come :)

Makaila & Edgar Surprise Engagement

I met Makaila during a very special time in my life, when I was engaged to daniel and planning my own wedding. Our friendship grew really fast and soon I considered her one of my best friends. I didnt think twice before I asked her to be my maid of honor.

Two short years later, Edgar called us to tell us he wanted to ask beautiful makailas hand in marriage. My first thought was ''Yay Im so happy for her''. I was extremelly excited that Edgar and Makaila were now Soon to be ''Engaged''.

We made up a plan (Edgar, Daniel and I) of a secret photoshoot to ''advertise our business'' so we could not sound so fishy about the whole idea of a secret engagement.End result ''SHE SAID YES''

Congratulation Makaila and Edgar for your engagement! I cant wait till the actual day where you say ''I DO ''

Mallory and Seth Wedding

We all got ready to leave tampa on Friday Morning to go Photograph Mallory and Seths Wedding. I had invited my dear friend Jessica Charles to come assist Daniel and I on this wedding.

As we get there everything is ready to go and I met Mallory for the first time.

She said her Hello very sweetly and quietly and she was getting ready for her big day :) I remember Praying the day before for a sunny day , since the whole entire week rain seemed to be pouring out non stop. But this day was different. The Sun did decide to stick around for this wedding :).

We photographed the Girly girls and got ready to go and finish off with some photos with the Groom and their guys!

The day went on and I couldnt have asked for better lighting! I think this was Gods way of giving a special gift to the newly weds.

One thing I do like to add, No matter what happens or will happen in life, Mallory and Seth, I am sure you guys will make it through the obstacles together. Dont forget that you will always have each other to hold on to when times get rough.

I love Photographing the small details of Weddings. It always shows the personality of the Bride or the groom.

Mallory and Seths First Kiss made some what an impression on my heart. There were no words that could describe what we all felt as they locked their eyes together as a newly wed couple!

Laura & Galileo Engagement

A very hot Memorial Day it was indeed. I really just wanted the air conditioning system from our car to follow us around. Is there such a thing?? If there is I am looking foward to that right now =) . It was very hot, but time passed by realy quickly as we photographed laura and galileo. It had been a while since I last saw them and we had fogotten what a great chemistry we had with them.

They are having an August wedding, and I could tell how exciting it will be. I love photographing couples who are happy and in love. It makes the atmosphere of the entire photoshoot change.

This is what I felt when I photographed Laura & Galileo on that hot day. Nothing mattered, but the look in their eyes as they expressed their love for each other!!!

Cindy & Keith Engagement

They met in High school, and soon they were in love. Cindy and Keith always make me think to myself what it would have been like if I had met Daniel earlier in my life ( AKA High school) I think I would have felt so much better knowing that I would spend my life with him since then.

Keith Proposed to Cindy in Clearwater beach, So she decided her engagement session needed to be in the same place he had proposed to her. I instantly thought to myself '' ALL YES FOR THAT'' but I didnt think of all the things that might occur on that specific day. Knowing its florida a Sunday afternoon would be packed in the beautiful beach of Clearwater, so we moved our session to a small secluded beach in treasure island.

Nothing felt more perfect than the Deserted Sands of treasure Island as we arrived, as soon as we stepped out of the car I felt the water hitting my shoulders. RAIN. Oh no, not the Rain. It started pouring in a matter of seconds and I couldnt feel any worse than the feeling of unexpected rain on the beautiful engagement session we had planned . I closed my eyes and squinted a little bit. I was really praying. Praying that God would help me out by removing the rainy clouds maybe just for a little hour. I felt a warm spot on my shoulder and there it was the sun again. Shining through the rainy clouds and drying the wet spots the rain had left behind. The day was perfect after this little storm had gone by.

It only goes to show us it is true what they say '' There is always sunshine after a great storm''

Jeremy Business Photoshoot

The streets in Tampa were deserted this day. It almost felt like It was a ghost city. I met this gentleman a while back at one of the weddings I photographed! He was the DJ for the night and He krunked the music up, it made the night really alive. He called me a while later this time he was interested in taking some urban. modern photos for his Business as a Realtor!! So being an Urban, Modern photographer myself I agreed.

He asked me to guide him through posing So I did what I could ( Being a woman was hard to try to visualize myself as a man) I will tell you what He was a natural from beginning to end =) Natural talent always pays off when it comes to things like this =)

Jeremy will be launching His new looks in the next few weeks!! Good lcuk and congratulations Jeremy with your new Modern look. I hope that you will do a great, great job!

Lindsey and Eric Wedding

This beautiful sunny day was super dedicated to Lindsay and Eric.After a couple of rainy days, it was almost as if the sky had opened up for the marriage of this beautiful couple. I walked up the apartment setting and found lindsay so excited her day has come. I couldn't wait to get my camera ready and start photographing her emotions that flowed so naturally!!! Daniel , (my super wonderful hubby ;) ) was downstairs photographing '' the dudes'' I guess their emotions displayed in a different way.

Toes in the warm sand, camera ready, sun is as bright as it could get, and a perfect blue sky .. Yup everything was ready for the festivities to begin :)

I felt extremely happy watching the Love and joy lavishing in the air as the vows were being said. We got to see the joy as they shared these beautiful moments together.

Rene and George Wedding

A beautiful day at the beach I felt like nothing could be more perfect after a night of storming. I was praying for this weather for Rene and Georges wedding. It seemed like the weather was more than perfect on that saturday afternoon. Their wedding went about and I was so glad to be a part of it. I did like the way it felt being there photographing at a perfect sunny day but near people who cared about their family so much they included them in every step of the way !

Even though I didnt have a personal time with Rene and George beforehand because of the fact they are from a nother state, I felt as close to them as I did to my brides I sat down and got to know them.

Family for this couple is a huge aspect of their lives, and Im so thankful I got to be a part of their family for one day!!

Cheyanne and Joe E-session Sneak Peek

This E-session was one of my favorites to photograph. This cute couple were as excited as I was about photographing their engagement session.

Chayenne and Joe both have interest in Vintage times and things , so for their engagement session we went to Ybor city in tampa, florida to show a little more of their personalities and it was a bit of a romantic place with the old antique, classique look!

Hello there bloggers and everyone else out there reading my posts, I am very sorry I have been completelly taken up with work lately and havent been able to post as much. I am very happy to annouce our new logo above as you can see it :) It made me so happy to have this finally done for us :) I really think that this is a reflection of who I am. I am feminine yet fun and ''cute'' if you will! also feel like the spark reflects my will to photograph and ''paint with light'' as I so call it.

Very excited about the great things God has been doing in our lives. :)

Kathy and Frank's Wedding

Kathy and Franks wedding was extremelly well thought of and classic. Frank is actually Angels brother. This wedding also took place in Orlando and they had a beautiful pavillion for their cerimony and reception in front of a lake.

We were having so much fun with the music and the happy couple when all of a sudden Frank calls in a MARICHI BAND. I think the fun picked up whenever they came in and saranated Kathy as a wedding gift :)

Zoey and Angel's Wedding

Zoey and Angel's wedding was a very beautiful and simple wedding. They had such great energy and love , I felt I was walking in a Love story or a love movie :) Zoey and Angels wedding took place in this beautiful Plantation in Orlando. It was almost as if we were somewhere else like up north. I have never seen a place like that in Florida.I was so happy to meet their family. They had a beautiful family.

Working with other photographers could sometimes be a little hard. Not because of their capability or how they handle situations , but because I am also a photographer and that makes it a little hard not to run the show, However I have had the chance to work with a great friend whom I really appreciate.
